Yоu’ve likely heаrd аrguments аbоut changing the term limits fоr House members (making them longer); putting a limit on the number of terms a person can hold; or placing age limits on holding House seats (i.e., you cannot be elected to the House if you’re over the age of XX). Think for a bit about the constituency represented in the House, and the fact that the House is designed to be responsive to popular will. Create an argument in which you explain, in detail, how apportionment, single member districts, and gerrymandering impact representation. In your conclusion, explain whether you think the proposed changes (changing terms for House limits, age limits, etc.) would be sufficient to address challenges to representation. Remember, this isn't an opinion piece. You're using academic language to make argumentative statements, you're using your readings to provide support for those statements, and you're using real world examples to "show" your reader that something is true (rather than just telling them). Your reflection must follow all mandated guidelines detailed in the syllabus.
