Questions

Answer the prоmpt belоw in аt leаst аrоund three-four sentences. This is a closed book response.    Pick a character (NOT Kate, since we have discussed hers) and explain what you think their misbelief is, supported by evidence from the text. How does this character face their fear and/or overcome their misbelief in the finale of the story (be as specific as possible)?  Remember: A character's misbelief is a lie they believed since the beginning of the story, which has been stopping them from growing to their full potential / in the way they need to, and the finale of a story often forces them to overcome this misbelief to finally grow and succeed in their mission. For example, we discussed how Kate's misbelief is that she must be completely self-sufficient and not need help from others in order to prove her worth (evidence being passages which said she has felt she needed to prove her successful independence since her father abandoned her), and in the finale we see her fight to bring Constance up the flag tower so Constance can help in the mission, despite feeling really tempted to just go herself and leave her alone.   Remember to write specific answers that go beyond summary and provide an original interpretation and analysis backed up by evidence from the text!
