All samples were run in the same thermocycler at the same time. In lane 8, approximately what size (in base pairs) is the DNA fragment shown, and why did the PCR produce a product of that size? In lane 7, there is no PCR product visible. What does that tell us about that PCR, and why might that have happened? Offer suggestions, i.e., possible sources of error.
