Pleаse аnswer yes when yоu hаve read the abоve...  IT'S GOOD TO TAKE A LONG STRETCH DURING AN EXAM OR A RESTROOM BREAK...FEEL FREE. 1. If yоu have been using AI for your extra credit, discussions, etc. this is not allowed and considered plagiarism.  Per the syllabus this may result in a substantial loss of points at the end of the term. IF YOU ARE CONCERNED LEAVE A MESSAGE IN MY INBOX THAT YOU'D LIKE A REPORT.  If you don't use AI you have nothing to worry about. 2. When you submit the homework pdfs there are 7-8 questions and some ask for sketches; some of you will lose points by submitting your answers to the "discussion" which is a DIFFERENT assignment 3. The field trip is required to pass the class, regardless of you grade.  The location is 50 mi from Mt. SAC and you may do that on your own any day you wish, or join me on the date inn the syllabus. 4. This exam will utilize Honorlock.  If you encounter issues with Honorlock, I likely cannot help you...so, in Google search for "Honorlock support" and explain your issue to them.  The answers will be visible 1 min after the exam is due, which means there are no opportunities to complete the exam "later".If you have a phone next to you or notes or another screen Honorlock will sense that and pause your exam.  I will receive a notice about that.  I'm pointing this out so that you are careful and do not lose points. WHAT WILL EARN YOU A ZERO ON THE EXAM: YOUR ROOM IS TOO DARK THE CAMERA DOES NOT SEE YOU FROM YOUR EYES TO YOUR SHOULDERS THE SUN IS BEHIND YOU AND YOUR FACE IS NOT VISIBLE YOU HAVE ANYTHING OVER YOUR CAMERA YOU ARE SAYING THE QUESTIONS ALOUD YOUR EYES CONSTANTLY MOVE LEFT OR RIGHT AS IF YOU ARE READING NOTES OUT OF VIEW YOU USE ANOTHER DEVICE LIKE A PHONE YOU IGNORE THE INSTRUCTIONS OF A PROCTER BASically, don't do anything that remotely appears to be using anything besides your brain to think and your fingers to type 🙂 The only resource at your disposal is your huge brain...no notes, phones, web sites, textbook, etc.  You also have access to a basic calculator in Honorlock. All you have to do is type"yes" in the space below to indicate you read these helpful reminders.  Good Luck!
