Welcоme tо the Hоnorlock Prаctice Assessment! Pleаse reаd through the entirety of this practice assessment. Do not worry, though, it will not count against you! The purpose of this practice assessment is to help you acclimate to the Honorlock proctoring system. While this assessment is open, you should see the Honorlock toolbar at the bottom of your screen. You can expect to see this on all assessments proctored by Honorlock. This ensures that we can accurately proctor your assessment and provide you with information and tools you might need during it, such as your assessment guidelines or an on-screen calculator. In addition, you will be able to preview your webcam capture and minimize it back to the toolbar. You will not need to display it during your assessment, so feel free to minimize it to the toolbar so it does not distract you. Finally, if you wish to reach out to Honorlock Support with a question about the proctoring process, click the message icon. We want to answer any questions you may have about the proctoring experience. However, we cannot answer any questions directly related to your course or assessment. We ask you to agree to three points: I agree to uphold my school's Academic Code of Integrity. I understand that I must remain in view of my webcam for the entire duration of my assessment. If I have an issue with the proctoring service during my assessment, I will contact Honorlock Support at https://honorlock.com/support. To complete this assessment, open https://www.osha.gov/ and search for fatalities. Choose the recommended link - Fatality Inspection Data. Micrоаggressiоns hаve been studied аs chrоnic interpersonal stressors associated with anxiety and depressive symptoms. In The Coddling of the American Mind, authors Haidt & Lukianoff argue that the framing of microaggressions as acts of aggression may encourage maladaptive cognitive patterns, potentially increasing distress. Using concepts from psychopathology, evaluate these perspectives. To what extent can these perspectives be integrated? Under what conditions (e.g., severity, frequency, ambiguity) might each perspective better explain psychological outcomes? (200-300 words) Incorporate at least 3 of the following (* indicates required): Stress-diathesis model Cognitive distortions (CBT),* such as: mind reading emotional reasoning dichotomous thinking (A.K.A. "black-and-white thinking") negative filtering catastrophizing Dialectics/multiple truths Minority stress theory* Allostatic load Trauma and hypervigilance Social anxiety and rejection sensitivity Rumination Resilience and coping Your goal is to explain psychological processes, not to argue for or against a social/political position.
