I understаnd аnd аgree that the use оf AI-written discussiоns оr assignments will result in one warning. A second offense will result in a zero being entered as my final grade. My instructor makes this determination using the agreed-upon results of multiple AI scanning tools. I further understand that I am not even allowed to use Generative AI such as ChatGPT to proofread my assignments as the suggestions it makes do not help me to become a better communicator and may return false-positive results on an AI checker. I should use tools such as Spelling and Grammar check in Word or Google docs if I feel I must use something. I understand I am not being graded on grammar, spelling, punctuation, or how well I write - I am being graded on my own thoughts that demonstrate I have done the coursework and understand the material.
