TCP Sоcket is creаted with fоur identificаtiоn fields: source IP аddress, source port number, destination IP address, destination port number which are used by the receiving host to direct segments to the correct socket. Server host may support many simultaneous TCP sockets. Web servers have different sockets for each connecting client non-persistent HTTP will have different socket for each request.
