I understаnd thаt оn the prоctоred chаpter tests that I can only use my own personal written notes (these are written notes you take while watching videos etc., NOT worked out examples of your homework or quizzes that you completed) during the test, blank scratch paper to work problems on, and an allowed calculator. (see previous question) On the Proctored EXAMS I cannot use any notes, the book, or internet resources but I am allowed the same blank paper and allowed calculator. These items MUST be shown on camera during the room scan portion of the Honorlock test. PLEASE NO SPIRAL NOTEBOOKS, only single sheets of paper.  On Exams I must show my work in the "show work box" on My Mathlab for credit on the questions. Work cannot be uploaded after the fact etc. I know how to use the "show your work" box because I've done it on the Honorlock Practice exam. Before I close out my exam, I must show myself tearing up any scratch paper, ON CAMERA, into small enough pieces so that it is not useful for reading anymore. Once that is done, I can submit my exam. FINALLY, YOUR WEBCAM SHOULD BE POINTED AT YOUR HANDS AND WORK SURFACE, NOT JUST ON YOUR FACE. YOU WILL PRACTICE THIS SKILL IN YOUR HONORLOCK PRACTICE TEST. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN YOUR BEING WITHDRAWN FOR NON ATTENDANCE FROM THIS COURSE. YOU CAN MOVE YOUR LAPTOP AROUND ON YOUR DESK, OR CHECK OUT A SEPARATE WEBCAM FROM ANY HCC LIBRARY. Your instructor will send an email to you to verify your compliance with this policy with in 10 days of the course start.
