I knоw thаt lаte writing аssignments will be accepted up tо 4:00 pm оf the day following the assignment deadline, but will have a 25 point penalty applied. I know that any writing assignment uploaded incorrectly (I will get a confirmation of successful submission--if in doubt I will contact my professor immediately) or submitted NOT using Turnitin is subject to a 25 point penalty as well. In the case of late papers or papers not turned in via Turnitin, the Turnitin link will no longer be active, so I know that I must turn in the writing assignment following these instructions: I must print out my paper and turn in a hard copy to my professor. I know he is on Campus Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but that he generally leaves campus by 3:30. If I miss my professor in person, I will turn in my printed paper to Faculty Services, which is located on the first floor of the Library. I KNOW THAT I MUST HAVE MY WRITING ASSIGNMENT LOGGED IN BY Faculty Services personnel. I know that the date I typed on my paper is insufficient to receive points. I know that if it is not logged in by Faculty Services, my professor will consider it turned in past the “grace” period and therefore only writing assignment credit only will be earned, but no points assessed. Faculty Services close at 4:00 pm. (SEND IT THROUGH EMAIL ONLY IF YOU ARE TRYING ESTABLISH THE "GRACE PERIOD" DEADLINE. DO NOT SEND IT VIA CANVAS CONVERSATIONS for any reason!)
