Pаblо wаs returning hоme frоm work one evening when the vehicle directly in front of him rаn a red light and collided with another vehicle in the middle of an intersection. The vehicle that had been directly in front of Pablo was driven by Dexter. The vehicle that Dexter had collided with was operated by Mary. Pablo was able to stop at the intersection without being involved in the accident. However, as Pablo sat at the intersection, he observed the vehicle operated by Mary burst into flames. Pablo got out of his car and ran to assist Mary who was unconscious in the driver’s seat of her car. Pablo was able to extract Mary from her burning car but was severely burned. Police and fire department personnel responded to the accident and took Pablo to the burn ward at the local hospital. Pablo received treatment but died 2 days later of complications arising from the burns he sustained in saving Mary. It was later learned that Dexter had been in hurry making a rush delivery for his employer, Delbert, at Delbert’s instruction. Pablo was survived by his wife Patricia, and their 12-year old daughter Marcia. At the time of the accident, Pablo was earning $100,000.00 per year and was the sole financial support for himself, Patricia and Marcia. At the time of his death, Pablo was 35-years old, and had planned to work until the age of 65. Discuss.
