This is the first-yeаr exit exаm fоr full-time MBA students. It cоntаins twо major sections, outlined below. In Part I, this exam tests your ability to apply what you've learned in your first year of core classes to the case about the company Huawei. Your capability to analyze and provide a case response is worth 46 of the total 150 points for the exam. You will need to open and read the case carefully. You will be given prompts and guidance on key issues in the case for you to address. You will consider these questions and provide an essay response. Contained within your essay (2-3 pages), your response to the case must include your analysis, recommendations, and support for those recommendations. In Part II, this exit exam serves as a baseline demonstration of competency in the core subjects taught in your first year of the program. Additional questions are included here that were not in the Business Lab Challenge Final Exam. As this part of the exam is worth 104 points, you will draw 5-6 questions (T/F, multiple choice, short answer) from each of your core subjects, Virtually all core subjects are simplified in this exam format - the questions are designed to test your conceptual understanding and fundamental principles of each class, not to replicate finals you have or will take for each subject area. You must score at least 70% or better to pass this exam. If you don't pass, you will be asked to take a makeup exam in the fall. A final note: This exam is administered in person only on the morning of April 30th, from 8:00 to 12:00 p.m. Copy and paste operations are not allowed during the exam.  Good luck!
