If you choose to focus on only one piece of content, that's perfectly acceptable, as long as you have sufficient content to discuss. If you'd prefer to highlight material from more than one piece of content, please feel free to do that instead. The point of this essay question is to encourage you to interact with material other than what is provided in the textbook and lectures, and for this supplemental material to (hopefully) deepen your understanding of the history of psychology.Your task is to describe your reaction to supplemental material(s) included in the chapter lesson folders, and to articulate how the supplemental material furthered your understanding of the content from contained textbook and lecture presentations. As such, you should be prepared to identify the supplemental material(s) that you found interesting or noteworthy and also be prepared to explain how the material you have chosen relates to other course content. A thorough answer will generally be approximately 150-300 words in length, well-organized, and carefully proofread. Your answer will be graded primarily in terms of depth of thought and connection to course materials, using a 20-point scale where exceeding expectations = 18-20 points, meeting expectations = 16-17 points, not meeting expectations = 15 points or less.
