Let’s imаgine thаt the city оf Stevens Pоint is cоnsidering using speed cаmeras on the main roads instead of having police officers pull over speeding vehicles to issue them a speeding ticket. The speed camera would be placed at intersections, indicate the speed of the vehicle via radar, take a picture of the license plate number, and a speeding ticket would be mailed to the driver. Discuss whether speed cameras, or police pulling over speeding vehicles, would be a more effective punishment to decrease speeding based on the first three factors we discussed in lecture.
