Yоur histоry оf аn 11-yeаr-old girl presenting with heаdaches elicits the following information: 6-7 headaches in the past three months, headaches associated with nausea but no vomiting, denies photophobia. She describes the headaches as “throbbing” on the left side of the forehead. Once or twice the headache was at the back of her head also. When she gets these headaches, she lies down and they usually go away after and hour or two. One time the headache lasted “all day”. She took Tylenol for only one of the headaches with little relief. She denies any visual/speech/hearing disturbances, or motor weakness. What is the most likely diagnosis given her presentation?
