A mаnufаcturing plаnt is deciding its prоductiоn schedule fоr the next 3 months. Each month, it has a demand of , , and crates of Labubus, that must be met on time. It can produce Labubus ahead of time, and hold them in storage. Each month, the plant can hire part-time workers and full-time workers. Because of difference in hours worked, part-time workers can make up to crates of Labubus per month and full-time workers can make up to crates of Labubus per month. It costs dollars to hire a part-time worker for a month, and dollars to hire a full-time worker for a month. Storage of crates of Labubus from the end of month to the start of month +1 costs dollars per crate. If any part-time workers are hired during month , one supervisor must be hired for the month, at cost per month. If any part-time workers are hired in month 1, then either no part-time workers should be hired in month 2 or some part-time workers must be hired in month 3 (or both). If any part-time workers are hired in month 3, then some part-time workers must be hired in month 1. At most 100 part-time workers can be hired each month. Formulate an integer linear program to help the plant meet its demands on time at minimum cost.
