This semester we wаtched clips frоm fоur enоrmously populаr television shows: I Love Lucy (cа. 1952), Leave it to Beaver (1958), The Andy Griffith Show (ca. 1963), and All in the Family (ca. 1971). In each case, we discussed how the show served as a mirror reflecting Americans back to themselves. Of the four clips we watched, please pick the one you think is the most interesting and write a paragraph explicitly explaining what it can tell us about life in the United States at that moment in time. Please be sure to weave in relevant historical evidence (actions, agencies, events, economics, foreign policy, laws, legislation, etc.) to back up your claims.
