I understаnd thаt in the pаst when students have cheated оn the P.E.R.T. exam that they have been caught. The videо recоrding during the test will document all actions. The recording will be reviewed before scores are validated. Any academic dishonesty activity may result in disciplinary actions as outlined in the Student Standards of Conduct printed in the Indian River State College Student Handbook. Students are not permitted to have any notes or resources during the exam. They are not allowed to open any other webpages on their computer while testing. Cellphones, smart watches or any other electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the room during the exam. Students must be alone in their testing room for the entire exam. Any student who is suspected of any form of academic dishonesty or acting suspiciously during the PERT exam will have their exam invalidated, lose their exam fee, and will delay or forfeit their opportunity to take classes at IRSC. Our goal for sharing this information is to prevent students from cheating and forfeiting the opportunity to attend IRSC.
