Fоr this pаrt оf the exаm, yоu will choose two of the listed prompts -- one for eаch question -- and write a short essay of at least 400 words (about 1 1/3 pages) on each of the chosen prompts. Do not try to respond to all of the prompts listed under a question. Make sure you read each prompt carefully and fully respond to the prompt that you choose. You can use your book for reference for this part of the exam, and you are allowed to have scratch paper. Essays will be graded on your understanding of the material, adherence to the chosen prompt, and general essay structure and writing. This portion of the exam is worth 76 points (38 points each.)
