In this unit we learned about how various groups and individuals experienced the economic, social, and political realities of this time. There were many commonly held economic and social impacts from the Great Depression. One of the questions we have been investigating is "To what extent did Canadians suffer 'extreme' problems during the Great Depression?" In order to answer this question you have to: 1. Identify some (3-4) of the most significant (extreme) consequences of the Great Depression faced by Canadians across the country during this period of time. 2. Next, explain why these are significant and/or 'extreme' problems or consequences. Use examples and evidence from the course material to support your answer.
