Zoe ambulates short distances with forearm crutches and bilateral AFO's to control increased planterflexion tone. The child has difficulty with balance when moving over uneven surfaces and ramps. Your PT has asked you to work on ambulatory progression to steps and curbs in your outpatient clinic with Zoe. YOU are concerned about her transition to the new school, but the PT is not.
