A Microbiology lab team needed to gather information about their unknown bacterial species. The following tests were performed: Gram stain, Hektoen, thioglycollate (line marks where dye ends). Describe the gram reaction and its morphology/arrangement, its reaction on the Hektoen plate (be specific) and its oxygen requirement in the thioglycollate tube. (NOTE: I had to straighten the thioglycollate tubes in the photo because I took it at an angle and that is the reason the line is slanted.)
