Assignment Instructiоns This Exаm is clоsed nоtes, closed textbook, аnd аny resource to assist you is strictly prohibited. All violations will be reported to the Office of Students Rights and Responsibilities. You have 75 minutes to complete this exam, which must be completed in one sitting. Remember the Honorlock Rules, as stated in the course syllabus: Exam locations must be well lit. Lighting in the room must be bright enough to be considered “daylight” quality. Overhead lighting is preferred, if overhead lighting is not possible, the source of lighting should NOT be directly behind the student. Exams must show a student’s entire face and neck and remain fully visible for the entire exam. Each individual student’s WHOLE face should be in range of the camera the ENTIRE time, not just one’s forehead or eyes, but the entire face and neck for the entire exam. Each student must be in a semi-private location, where you are not distracted by others. There cannot be any additional screens in the testing room, this includes TVs, desktop computers, etc. No music/TV/movies should be playing, nor should a TV/radio/video be on in the background. Google Assistant, Alexa, Siri, Apple Handoff, AI, and other similar devices may not be used. Communication or receiving assistance from others is not permitted during exams/quizzes. Exceptions: contacting Honorlock or the San Jacinto College Tech Support/Blackboard Support. Students may not use any device, notes, books, other computers, etc., when taking exams. If these items are seen/heard during the exam, a student will receive an automatic zero on the exam. If a student does not place their phone away from them during the room scan, the instructor can assume there is cheating on the exam. Please note that any violation of the rules (1-7) as stated above may result in a penalty ranging from 10-50 points at the discretion of the instructor.
