18 yeаr оld bаsebаll player cоmes intо the AT facility complaining of pain in his shoulder.   He states that it was been sore for a few weeks now and that the pain is at its worst point when throwing a baseball during practice.  He does not recall any specific event that made his shoulder start to hurt, and he has not, and does not hear any abnormal sounds when throwing. Palpation reveals no obvious swelling or abnormal anatomy.  He is most point tender under deep and around the Acromion Process and out towards the greater tubercle of the humerus. Hawkins test was painful; Empty Can test was painful, but not weak; Bear Hug test showed no weakness; Infraspinatus Test was within normal limits (WNL) and Paxino's sign had pain but no laxity.  Based on this information, what would be your diagnosis for this athlete?
